TESTIMONIALS

This is my first time interacting with migrant workers and it was meaningful. Some of them only return home once every 2 years, so I'm grateful for my family's presence. I've also picked some cooking tips from them, and I think it's cool that they cook for themselves daily.

My Singaporean friend, Daniel, taught me how to use a camera. I can now take nicer photos, and I'm gonna go back and teach my family. It was a fun day getting to know more Singaporeans, and it's touching that they're interested in my life too.

Although I've interacted with migrant workers through CIP in school, I think this has been the most fulfilling event for me. I talked to Ismail and Rashid, and discovered that they're aspiring poets in their hometown. I hope to see their poem in books one day.

It's my first time I celebrating Chinese New Year. I haven't heard of it until I came to Singapore. My Singaporean friends kindly made halal pineapple tarts and cookies for us. I'm thankful for this chance to make friends with them.
